School-level Planning Facilitation

Price: Based on number of planning days (example: Average size school for 3 planning days = approximately $5,500) *Does not include travel and other expenses

Our Planning Service ensures that schools are well prepared for the challenge of integrating technology. During the Planning process, we facilitate the development of detailed and meaningful strategic technology plans while creating a community atmosphere and school support for technology initiatives. We make certain our clients are aware of their technology integration goals and provide them with the confidence to attain them.

How does it work?
The vivED Planning service begins with a high-level evaluation of the technology situation at the school. We will use data that exist from previous evaluations (if applicable.)

Based on our review of the school situation, vivED builds a comprehensive planning program. Part of this development includes the design and printing of participant materials and the creation and development of unique activities. The planning session content also includes custom research and analysis based on specific client needs.

If necessary, vivED will coordinate the planning session event (usually offsite within the district) and solicit participants. The school community chooses the time and location that best matches their schedules and needs.

vivED consultants will then facilitate the entire planning session. vivED will lead the participants (as many as the client chooses to invite - 20 max) through a professionally designed strategic planning process. With a typical session lasting 2 full days. The length and scope of the planning event is completely customizable.

vivED will document the work and outcomes of the session for use in continued technology conversations.

Who Should Purchase?
      Schools

How long does it take?
A planning session typically occurs over a 2 day period. The minimum service requires 1.5 days and maximum time period is normally 5 days. The design, coordination and preparation typically occur over a 1 month period.

What do you get?
Technology Plan Guidebook - A formal outline, templates, and criteria for writing an overarching tech plan.

Participant Workbooks/Materials - These are the workbooks and other materials that will be used by the participants during the session.

Technology Plan - This is the plan that will be created during the planning session. vivED will develop this based on session outcomes.

Client Web Update - Documents and materials related to the Planning Session will be added to the client's online technology portfolio.

Frequently asked question: Would the Technology Plan we create satisfy State Requirements?
Answer: Each state has different requirements and processes for approving plan. Our planning guidelines are extremely detailed and we are confident that if completed, your plan would meet most state requirements. However, the actual writing of a technology plan may not occur during vivED's services, but the discussions and direction set during our service can be added to your document.
